More and more students with disabilities are approaching the transition age and parents are investigating options for their child. Due to a new federal mandate vocational rehabilitation agencies nationwide say they are serving more students. Many agencies have indicated that they have served more students over the last four years providing such services as workplace readiness training, work-based learning experiences, and self-advocacy related to job exploration or postsecondary education.
