July 22-Dominique CARES Annual Who Cares? Resource Fair is this Saturday. There are great vendors lined up to be there including Personalized Learning Solutions, LLC & tons of valuable information for parents/guardians of individuals with disabilities!!
August 5 & August 19-Personalized Learning Solutions & Dominique CARES are offering FREE Parent Workshops to help parents prepare for the upcoming school year. The workshops will cover a variety of Special Education topics. Learn Special Education basics including a brief overview of the laws & Special Education process, how present levels of academic achievement/functional performance & goals should be written, difference between an accommodation & modification, student & parent rights, school district responsibilities, basic terms, and acronyms.
